It’s reprinted here to commemorate Veterans Day and Ronald Reagan’s tribute to the 442 RCT before he signed HR 442. Grant Ujifusa is the founding editor of The Almanac of American Politics, which George Will and Tim Russert
called “the bible of American politics.”
